FMCG Companies have witnessed a marked shift to “value packs” from bulk purchases in food, personal care and home products. Driven by a cautious approach to spending, consumers are limiting their outlay. The closedown of restaurants too has affected the purchase of items in bulk. Another shift expected by these companies is an uptick in the volume of sales, more so of the “value packs” as migrants consider a longish or even a permanent stay back home.
